took boat out for the first time today and let me be the first to say dont do this at home or any where els. first 2 seconds out in the water had to drag it back in it was all tied up in fishing line. part 2 cleaned it all up and tossed out in the water moving a massive -2 knots forward and about 3 in reverse. ok i have the prop on back ward. i can and did fix this switched the prop to right direction no fishing line flat out for all it was worth it +2 3 knots. i swear if i would have been able i would have berried it at sea i would have shot with a 12 gauge shot gun or filled to top with nitro and set on fire to watch it burn.please dont do this at home so the is the tail of the ss dud

this is the little motor that killed the boat that should!! LOL!!!

Eurgle RC Boat 2848 2580kv BL Brushless Inner Runner Motor with Water Cooling System
this is a little smaller in size then a 540 can, so a bit of modding might be needed to fit it to the motor mount

just hunting the esc i got to go with it...

hummm, it was a 40amp hobby king esc, cant get onto my hobby king account at the moment to find it.....

brushed motors have never worked for me in a boat .. unless its a rescue boat.. they really need to be geared and not direct drive ..

the plastic prop will be another let down speed wise as it will be flexing to the shape of the water and not cupping it and pushing it away..

also a smaller lipo try a 1800 mha .. like the little ones in the foamy planes battery weight made all the difference in one of my projects .. i changed everything moved the cog everything i could thinkk of and then one day at the pond all i had left was a small lipo and it went ace ... so good that i came home and ordered
    more small ones ...

hope you get it to work
