My name is Brandon Fancey and my YouTube channel started back in 2010, Dec. 25 when I first got a Losi Night Crawler RTR for Christmas. Before I got this truck for Christmas me and my Dad shared a Savage X 4.6 big block, we split the cost 50/50 so the Losi Night Crawler was "my" first actual truck. The Savage won't start anymore after 3 years of fun, needs some parts. Alright back to the topic, I first started filming with my PSP (PlayStationPortable) camera. I wasn't able to go outside and crawl so I was stuck inside making short videos of my truck crawling on the couch and on stuff piled on the floor. Each video was about 30sec long, I didn't know what was a good video at the time or what made a good video. :disappearing: I always drove while a buddy of mine would film for me, it wasn't like now where I film by myself using a tripod, it was film the truck with the camera and make sure you can see it. Whenever I saw a dry spot down in the park that winter I would run down there and drive my truck and if my friend was around we would make a video. Nothing changed until summer came around. Once summer came the videos got longer and they took place outside in the near by forest/park, well its a park that leads into miles of forest, anyways you get the point, there a lot of different places to crawl right by my house. Being this close to a park/forest is very convenient and is where I have made most of my videos, except when I traveled to different spots in town, bike park, skate park, other parts of the Canadian forest or when me and my family go and travel to other places in Alberta to go RCing, Drumheller, Edmonton, Jasper, ext... nice thing a boot Canada is all the wildlife and forest, makes for good RCing eh! :XD: As time went on I started getting very good at making videos, I stopped using the PS3 video editing software and started using movie maker after getting my GoPro HD Hero camera which I still use today! After having more fun with the Savage and the Night Crawler and hearing that our only local hobby shop was closing I made a quick buy and got a good (going out of business deal) on an RC18T. Things progressed quickly from there, buying more vehicles and still not knowing how to fix them, Dad did most of the work. Alright so lets skip time quickly here, I upgraded the the Night Crawlers wheels and tires, and got a new body, the Savage was mainly getting new bodies because it broke the lexan quite easily. The RC18T remained stock, I bought a Summit VXL with my own money, I still own it, then Dad bought me a AX-10, the first one that AXIAL had ever made RTR rock racer with the limited slip front end, soon put a locker in it. My Dad now drives that one, it has been heavily modded into a scale truck. Now this is when thing changed for me, I actually started to take a big interest in working on my RC's, learning about how they worked and what not. I sold my Night Crawler and RC18T to some friends I got involved in the hobby. Using that money I bought myself a KIT AXIAL Wraith, I bought a Tekin FXR PRO ESC, SR300 receiver with a DX3C controller, a BEC from castle, and a 35T Novak Rockstar motor, I now have a 45T though. Me and my dad and my friend spent 3 full days building it, and that when everything just took off and lead me to where I am now. I now own a AXIAL Wraith, :sparkswraith: Summit VXL, and a ECX Revenge Type E. My Dad now own my old AX-10, and the Vaterra Twin Hammer. The Savage RIP in the garage, not in parts though, its just really old, like an old person who can't walk, eventually age kills us and that's exactly what it did to the Savage. :x_x: After having reached 300 subscribers and 15000 views I made a new YouTube channel under my name and not my friends Google account, I now also have a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/#!/brandon....ocation=stream dedicated to behind the scenes of me working on my RC's unboxings, a twitter https://twitter.com/RcCrawlerKing and Google + https://plus.google.com/u/0/10755610...0/posts?tab=wX as well for extra content and pictures. Just and update: I now have 38 subscribers and 299 views. My first goal is still to get 50 subscribers and 1000 views. I'm working hard on my content and taking advice I'm hearing from other RC youtubers. Mainly to just keep putting out video's with the nicest trail runs I can put together. I do all the filming and driving my self so this presents a challenge all on its own and I really try to make my video's look as though they are a continuous run. The thing I find the most challenging is getting your self established on youtube. I know from talking to others it is a time thing.
