Of course, I took the remains of my 1/16 Traxxas Slash, took off the rest of the rear (I took the differential and housing from it to my RWD drifter) , and I built a new suspension, but this time, there wasn't two wheels planned, but one.

i am converting my Ofna LD3 single speed to electric custom

and i am in need of some advice..

in this car there is no kit/way to fit a slipper clutch into this thing.. so i am going to try and get a pretty low torque brushless and hope it dont strip the gear all the time...

also i have a problem with the gearing.. the factory Nitro setup is a 44T spur / 18T Pinion would this be a good setup for a low torque setup? as far as i can see i cannot upgrade my spur i can only get a factory replacement so the 44T will have to stay the same..

my final drive is 2.5:1 if this helps

i will probably be getting a 9t/4370KV brushless with a 60A ESC should i go with a higher KV to lower the torque more to protect my spur gear?

i will be using a MadCode motor mount that mounts alot like a nitro so it should bolt close to right in




any help is appreciated!!

Ive built my hpi cup racer way too powerful to drift that on drift tracks I use rubber or the foam tires to control it. Had lots of set back with wheels exploding at speed and the rear diff just blowing apart. Last problem I had was with the plastic washer that holds the spur gear to the driveshaft rounding ouy from the pressure put on it. Soon I'll have my last 2 pieces to complete my solid metal driveline which are that spur gear washer thingy and the plastic piece the connects the drive shaft to the pinion gear. Also bought a spare front diff thats all metel to replace the rear plastic one. He is too hot about despite the short gear transmission. Now i want to use an Lrp Dynamic8.

Problem is, the gear of the Tgx have a Modul 0,8 (is 32dp the same??). I need a pinion with this modul for a 5 mm shaft, which are difficult to get in Germany. I'm not sure whether 32dp is the same as the module 0.8

Have you an idea which rc car has a motor pinion like this?
I desperately search further:tttt:
