After some up grades...

HPI Crawler King with HD dif gears, Steel trans gears, Traxxas Velenion 3500kv motor Vxl 3s esc, 21T pinion, 2s Lipo...This video is first run testing, This truck is getting a new body as the body on it belongs on my losi...I'm building this truck with Formula Offroad in mind...





Sort of a build expaination..





First test as a Formula Off Road...Make sure you check out the slide show at 1:30 minute mark...It's the best part...

We now have CV shafts, just waiting for some new shocks to come in as the stock ones have blown apart so many times they are no longer repairable...lol...

Ok so here is a bit of an update, Temper Tantrum is going through a rebuild...

HD steal gear set from RC4WD part #Z-S0049 and new bearings...



Level 3 RC Lower Center of Gravity Motor Mount part #WK-11 LGMM



Motor Mounted



Level 3 RC Center Servo Mount part #WK-14 CSM with some custom stearing links, Spektrum S6030 Servo, RC4WD XVD part # Z-S0609



Traxxas Lower Links, modified MIP Drive Shafts for SCX10 part #10145, RC4WD Straight Axel Adapter Kit part #Z-S0766, HPI HD Bevel Gear Set for 1/10 Nitro IDK part#



As you can see here Chassis is reversed, Traxxas Velineon System for a power plant, stepped the pinion down from 21 tooth to 17 tooth



I need to figure out a 3link set up for the front, level 3 rc sells the motor mount kit but neglects to tell you that if you use it you have to go to a panhard bar system and they do not sell one... So if you do this mod be prepaired for some custom work...lol...

Trying to decide what shocks to use, I have a set of Traxxas Big Bores sitting around here, but I dont think they will have enough travel... Arg so close to up and running, I can't wait...

Haven't done anything, stalled out...lol Been working on other projects, trying to get any one of them completed...lol...
