Welcome to RCSparks. You will love it here, this place is great with tons of amazing people. Anything you need just ask and you will get help pretty quick.

If you are looking for a 4x4 truck I am assuming you are wanting something like what Medic is doing? A scale truck? Axial SCX10 is what you will want to go with then. Best bang for your buck and very capable of many many things.

Yes they 1.9. The new SCX10's are glued on the rims and not beadlocks like the older style. You can get the Dingo as a KIT which means you need to build it and buy all electronics which can be more costly. So since you are just getting into RC's I would suggest the RTR Honcho just because all you need after that is battery and charger.

The tires it comes with are 1.9 size Ripsaws. RC4WD makes a 1.9 sized paddle tire if you don't want to have to get new wheels...

The battery depends on whether you want to use lipo or not. I run a 2S Venom 5400mah lipo and get close to an hour and a half of run time. The stock ESC that comes with the RTR version is set up for a lipo by default. I believe there is a sticky somewhere on here with more battery info if you need it.

Welcome! i demand you to get a Lipo! haha They are well worth the investment in the power and run times you will get. You will need a charger that can handle them though. So keep that in mind.

Any questions? Feel free anytime, the community here is awesome.

I personally use a Onyx 235. It has a storage bank of like 10+ battery configurations i think. Can handle most kinds of batteries and charges my lipos pretty quick. Also it has a built in balancer with is a real must with Lipo batteries. This regulates even voltage over all the cells in the battery.

There so many options when it comes to chargers, That just the one i have and it works for me
