simple as that!!!! i wanna see how peeps are painting their SCT's!!! these thing have got to have one of the biggest bodies in the hobby, and with such a large canvas, there are a lot of room for some AWESOME!!!
so.....
I don't care what brand you have.....
I don't care what what size1/16 right through to 1/5 scale........
I don't care if its your first paint job........
I don't care what colour..........

be proud and show it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is my slash 4X4 platinum. Which was the first body i have ever painted. Its a Proline carnage edition desert rat.

It had break away fenders. That were wicked awesome till i got really tired of picking them up and putting them back on. I have a really good video of it flying apart in slowmo.

and Here is my Slash 2wd. it use to be a short course. but now im not sure what to call it. I put a JCONCEPTS Punisher body on it.

Here is a pic of mine, its out dated by now but you get the idea.

All black is a 2wd slash, then of course the venom gambler, the 4 wheel parts is a stock 4wd slash, and the red/white/black is a 4wd slash ultimate.

OK OK you twisted my arm I`ll show you my mini me shes a 1/24 losi SCT with the following up grades new tires and bigger wheels as well as esc and motor witch is a Xcelorin Brushless system as well as a 2s lipo. I changed out the shocks oil to a 30w as well I installed a nice little light system. This little truck moves it very inexpressive and crazy to see something this small move so fast. I don`t do much off road with her now because I got her more set up for hard road running but with more upgrade coming she may go back to the dirt I`m also going to get delren wheels and tire because this thing is awesome to drift. there will be a video as soon as I get a new front diff but for now she sits and stars at me with a sad little face

. I will be upgrading the entire truck with all aluminum parts as well as hardened gears. This is like a little go cart compared to my axial scx10 and she bungees right in the bed of the scx10 truck. I hope you like the photos.

this is what i'm working on for the BIG race meet this weekend!!

lots of cutting, lost of masking, then cutting, and i found out last night i didnt have ANY paint to lay down the first colour!!!! LOL!!!
the cut stuff is on a transparent sticker, so hard to take pics of.......

what ya think!?!?! main colour is going to be fluro green!!

this is gotta be my fav on it!!!! LOL!!!!

I made it!!! got.... errr BORROWED the design off the net, and printed it onto an Avery Label, the transparent type, ruff cut it, stuck it down, then carefully, cut the symbols and lettering out.
took for EVER!!!!!! but in time, i'll be able to know if if worked out, and didnt bleed, later on. too cold this morning to lay a colour down, have to wait till about lunch time....

Nice work man! Them stencials really did the job, came out great.
I count 4 colours there, was it a sprey, remove mask, sprey, remove other mask, sprey, remove more masking etc type job?

YEP!!!! took a bit. just the way i roll!! LOL!! (dont have an air brush to try yet)
only problem with this method, apart from the time, is ya have to know the order you want to paint in(apart from darkest colour to the lightest) but in the order to remove the masks.
the flames and Hemi, and the little dude on fire on the back come up a treat, the ones on the roof, well, i made the sticker a bit too small and she bled.....

Been awhile since I posted here. Here you go guys.
1. Red Cat Aftershock 3.5 DE racing Trinidad Tires with Dynamite tires ( sprayed the wheels, they look good but it is flaking off). My dad owned a Gulf station when I was growing up.

2. AE SC8 nitro. This is the small company I work for. Printed some of the stickers on sticker paper then covered them with clear shipping tape. Dyed the wheels, maybe should have sprayed them with clear to shine them up a little.

what fun to dye!!! i want to buy another one just to do it all over again!!!
wanted fluro green, but couldnt get the dye, as i wanted it to match my Zombie Response body.

but green is green!!! I'm thinking a camo body for it(as the kit comes with a new shell)

its a HPI Blitz ESE Pro chassis. its the same build as the Blitz rtr chassis's, but made from stiffer plastics, and its white, thats why i was able to dye it!!
comes with MIP drive shafts, ball diff and alloy shockies. but i run the geared diff, less maintenance and just as easy to tune with oil, if you ask me!
