haha no. the corsair is not retired, only parked.. This isn't my plane. The owner of this beauty is Darwin. One of the regulars at the field. My corsair however is parked for a bit.. I recently did the switch over to a WildCat.. its actually in this video as a sneek peek..

    Thanks for watching guys!

That's Darwin's plane? Awesome. Hope he doens't need parts for it any time soon though.

Well, since the plane was discontinued a while ago I'd be surprised if they did have spares, even Horizon hasn't had any for some time. A few cowls, but no wings...

Two thumbs up Robsco! That thing tracks awesome through a roll. Sweet plane!

A man hasn't any idea what his soul looks like until he gazes into the eyes of the woman that he's married to. And then, if he's any kind of decent human being, he spends the next couple of days throwing up. Because no honest man can stand that image.

Its model land remember. Love the place, but we would take bets on things when we found something that was old. We found parts for a car once from 1992.. no price drop.. :P

    Thanks Beastmanh
I'll tell Darwin (the owner) the compliments on his plane. Thanks for watching!

The fact that the Spit was discontinued makes me very hesitant to fly it but its the nicest plane I have. My Habu is a handful, my Dads Freedom is sort of boring but the Spit is just right, its fast, very maneuverable and also very forgiving.

Can you tell me what electronics are in this Spitfire? My stock elecs are on their way out due to range issues.
    Thanks.

I don't know for sure but I'd suspect a power 10, 40 amp esc, 3 cell lipo. That's the most common setup for a plane that size.

I just got given a free Spitfire today. Was out flying in the field behind my house and a neighbour came up and asked if I wanted it. He said he crashed after 60 seconds and was going back to helis.

Looks like just the cowl and motor mount are gone, and a tiny bit of damage to the fuselage itself...I wish we hadn't just cleared out the last of our parts for it from the shop.

Good thing I picked up a nice new brushless motor from the sale that I can throw in it. I thought it would be good to have a spare in case, didn't expect to have a use for it within a day!
