what does your RTR look like now

hi guys and gals idk if this is the spot for this post but i thought i would do a thread asking if you had a RTR. and how much you have upgraded it. and if you think it was better going that route or getting a kit and maxing it out with upgrades. as i had got a RTR and just upgraded it to make it more my own.so please showcase your rigs here and tell me what you like better RTR or a kit and how it looks now.[IMG]

[/IMG]i also just made a snorkle for it from a bic pen.[IMG]

[/IMG]i also cut out the red gas tank and put my tire there as you could see a space threw there and it didn't look right so the tire took up the space nice.[IMG]

[/IMG]then i put a screen mesh in the back and added a box for random stuff and mounted my tow strap on the frame sorry i can't spell for shit lol.and i painted the hole truck black and blue and it gave it the used lookthe way the flat black took to the plastic.[IMG]

[/IMG]so that my truck so far i got more i want to do to it like beadlock rims and some tsl tires steal front bumper and a wench and skid plates.so yeah tell me and show me some things you guys have done to your RTRs.i know kits seem to be the way to go my next one is going to be the wraith kit and build it up as i go.

just built an scx10 dingo kit. i would post pics if i knew how. i will be making a series called ROCKIES ADVENTURES. maybe i will post the first one up here cuz videos are easier than pics to post up here hahaha.

This started out as an RTR...

Stretched the wheelbase, running 1.9 RC4WD Two Face tires, made new body mounts, and wiring up the lighting now before paint. I'm glad I started with the RTR because it came with everything I needed to get the truck moving (minus batteries) and allowed me to spend my money on other upgrades that I wanted to do. The factory motor/ESC/Receiver work great, too.

Mine is still stock, but I'm going to buy an aluminium steering link and some softer springs.
I took the stickers off of the stock body and painted Rally green over top, so now it's a scratch body.

I got my SCX-10 as the F-100 kit a few years ago. Its come a long way since then. The entire driveline is upgraded except for the axle shafts, locker, and diff cups. I've go a lot more done to it but its alot to list.

Thanks. Ordered some camo skins for it but have not had a chance to install them as im in the middle of moving. Just spent $5000 on furniture cuz I had sold everything I owned thinking I wanted to get married. Lol. I woke up and am starting from scratch.... you know how much RC's I could have had for $5000. Sorry had to rant a little ill post a new pic when I can.

damn lol sweet i just orderd 1 pack 2 tires some TSL super swampers im poor i could only get 1 pack atm lol but they will look sweet on my honcho.

My RTR scx-10 honcho has went from full stock.

Plow works. you can check it out on my YT channel. lots of vids of it evolving. I have a trailer for it now aswell.

My RTR Losi MINI Crawler

Has evolved into an Epic scale Jeep. the men even have seat belts.

and last but not least one of my AX-10's
which i don't have a picture of stock.
has became a HUMMER

and since i can get away with 1 more picture here is my honcho with the trailer.

yeah i got to say im shacking my head with envey guys i love alot of the mods you all have done!!!!!!!! as mine gets more done to it i'll post more pics of it.my snorkle vent broke off after a bad roll over so i got to try a better way to mount a new one as i used super glue. this time im useing a hot glue gun so it will have some give to it so we will see.i got to find something to use as a snorkle vent top now as i lost the old one in the rocks from the roll over.keep the pics coming they are all awsome guys!!

well i got my new TSL super swampers in and with the help of a fellow rc sparks member i got them on some nice bead locks finaly so this is how my honcho looks ATM i said i would keep posting as it gets to where i want it to be in the looks department lol its getting there slowy but it is happening so here it is now. Well this is what my Honcho looks like now. Don't mind the Honcho body underneath it was like 1 at night and I had just finished putting the roof-rack and light bar on the body so I couldn't be bothered to mount it on properly.

I havent bought an RTR, though i now have 3 different SCX-10 chassis setups.. 1 still functional and running < because i built it for my girlfriend and she wont let me touch it now>, and 1 in a semi state of rebuilding at the moment... Ill get pics posted up of what i started with and what i have built them into now later tonight when i get home to my file server.

thats sweet dribble nice to know how to streach it out.im so happy my RC4WD servo mounting kit just got here so now my servo will be under the batt.tray.its a very nice setup and adds to the scale look even more.[IMG]
