Hello all! I just thought I'd throw some pictures up here of my still-mostly-RTR Wraith and some places in my hood where my kids and I go and play w/ it. The current driver is Thunder Punch He-Man.

My wraith showing my first pseudo-mod:

Took out the battery tray and just strapped the battery underneath the frame with the included velcro. I was wondering if there are reasons to not do this (battery damage came to mind), but it hasn't been a problem yet and I hope to move the battery forward soon.

    Here's a pseudo-crawling spot I call Rock River:

The Pink Driver: she didn't want to drive on the rocks so she played on the path instead.

She also took some pictures on my phone while I drove the rocks:

Another local bashing spot is an old mixed-concrete-and-field-stone foundation lost in a woods. The Blue Driver (about 1m/40" tall) standing inside to give a bit of a sense of the scale. The wall at that end is at about his head height IIRC:

In fact, it was the Blue Driver jumping over the sloped, field-stone part of the wall that caused the first damage!

Not his fault though, I probably would have jumped it similarly to how he did it, and I know the way I drive I'd have broken it eventually. A local member of another forum already gave me his extra stock he had left over from an upgrade, and I have some VP titanium (complete set of upper/lower) on order from RPP already. It never fails to surprise me how simply awesome some of you random strangers on the interwebs are!

I'll update with pictures of the upgraded links of course, and anything else I do... clear body panels and hinge pins on order already too! Next to figure out is probably wheels/tires unless something else breaks (*touch wood* that it doesn't)!

    And hey, 100th thread!

    Thanks!
I haven't gotten any replacement plugs yet, and the battery I run is only a 3300mah nimh, so while it gets warm, it never gets close to hot AFAIK.
If/When I upgrade to lipo I may change out more of my wiring for something better.

Some new pictures (if you want a more verbose explanation visit my build page):

Busted 2 servo horns @Ioco last sunday, but today the LCA (Local Crawler Angel) gifted me a more-than-suitable replacement (it was even in my first choice of colour):

Also added some sweet new bling:
Carter Fab & Machine "Suit Up" 3-piece Suit of Armor, and MotoWorx Fillet-Face wheels w/ R35 Ripsaw Tires.

Modded the rear panel to hold the relocated lights.

    And some inner front fenders.

Also cut the stock battery tray to make a more permanent holder for the rear ESC, but failed to take pictures, sorry.
    Thanks for reading!

New pictures, the body panels are finally 'complete' (at least for now)!

    Overall:

    Front, Driver Side:

    Rear, Driver Side:

I should take pictures of the front steering upgrades too... maybe next time!

Some updated pictures, all electronics moved up front, tamiya connectors replaced with Anderson Powerpoles, new motor (Traxxas Titan 21T 550) and gearing (87T spur), Fast Eddy Bearing Upgrade, and tons of stainless steel machine screws to replace the self-tapping included ones!

    Under The Hood:

Empty Rear End (ready for 'future use', MUAHAHAHAHAHA!):

    How it looks now:

    Thanks for looking!
