I love my scx10!

Just came back from shooting a vid (which will be up once I have edited it and stuck it together)

Now I run an M-troniks RV15 Waterproof ESC.

I use the Flysky GTS2B radio and have the Receiver in a bag in the stock receiver box.

I was doing a water crossing in a creek when half way through the bonnet went totally under and the current just turtled it...
I gunned the throttle....no response.... Turn the steering.. No response...
So after getting my feet and shoes really wet I recovered it...
Turned it upright and BAAM.. She came back to life...
Just when I thought the day was going to end 5 mins after it started.... She just went !
Turns out the aerial does work to well when it is under water...
I love my SCX10 !

Sounds like you had fun man, I love my rc's too haha! I've had some pretty hairy moments with my SCT in the water. I went over a jump once and landed in a big puddle at the other side. She was soaked and it stopped running. I let her dry for a bit then it was fine. It must have a short circut protection or something but whatever it is it saved the truck!

I am just servicing mine... Re-packed the diffs.. they had a little water in them.. re-oiled the bearings...
Transfer case was dry as... unreal...

She is ready again for any-trails that may come.
