    Another Honcho

Ok, so I have the lift kit and dual motor plate on order from L3racing. Will be getting metal gears, MIP Shafts and also have a 4 link on order from R2J Kustoms.

Next step is moror/esc/servo choices which are or can be made water resistant/proof'ish.

For the dual motor setup and the fact it is water resistant/proof'ish the TRAXXAS EVX-2 seams like a good option!.

Motors, i've seen a lot of people use the Tekin 35T HD's but thats a fair amout of money to be getting dusty/dirty/wet.. Have anyone had any experience with th 540 Crawler Brushed Motor 35T from RC4WD? $10 sounds good ! haha..

Now onto servo, is there a decent metal geared water resistant/proof'ish servo or am I best proofing it myself? I do have plastidip and marine grease

    Thanks in advance!

Im running a dual motor setup in my Super Dually... though i opted to go with dual esc's that i sealed with 5 minute epoxy. I have found a few other options for a dual motor ESC. Ive used the traxxas but i finally gave up on that one mainly because you cant really run LIPO's with it, and you need dual batteries.

    Heres the options i found:

Outcry Crawler Dual Motor ESC w. Fan & TurboBEC

Holmes Hobbies / Holmes Bikes :: Motor Speed Controllers :: Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster BR-XL

    Rooster Crawler ESC

Nice to hear! Mine just came in the mail today! Switching over to deans plugs and adding a BEC as we speak. I\'m looking forward to trying out this Waterproof Hitec servo for sure.

Just ordered some MIP drive shafts as my front is blown out and the back keeps popping off Full metal gear set for the gearbox, 110mm scale shocks and a few other goodies! Also have currently installed lvl3 lift kit and Shon's 4link setup

I'm still looking at dual motors.. But still have a few questions here is the list so far:

    Holmes hobbies TorqueMaster BR-XL
    2xTekin HD 35T's

Now as far as batteries go, can I use this? or are the usual 7.4's more than enough?

I also want a fair bit of wheel speed and I saw Dr. Kustom using an 81t spur and 20t (which i believe is stock scx-10?) pinion and he had flying results in that video. But I think his holmes hobbies motor is 16 turn as well..

    Thoughts please?

    No one?

USPS shows my package in the country but unlikely a Saturday delivery

Also picked up a wraith 80t Spur and some harness extenders which have now been dipped in plasti-dip with the receiver attached.

Pics to come when I get my package and charge my D90
