Hey guys, selling this as a package for my son. He wants to get a Traxxas Rustler. The dromida does have a bad servo ($10) and the ECX has a stripped gear ($2). Also coming with the package is a piranha Nickel metal hydride charger. *$200* [IMG][IMG][IMG]

I'd recommend not getting a Rustler. There's better out there for similar price, if not less. I've had bad experience with Traxxas.

I'd highly recommend looking at Arrma vehicles. They have a bunch under $200.

Yeah, I've tried telling them him that Traxxas is not the only brand out there lol. Arrma does have some good rigs.

Haha. I just am really pissed at Traxxas lately. I speak about it every chance I get to let other people know. If you read some of my rants in "Last Person To Comment Gets $20" thread, then you'll know why I hate them so much. They will not be getting my money for a long time, if ever. Try to show him some pictures Arrma vehicles, I'm sure he'll like on, maybe their more monster truck looking ones.

But I highly recommend not buying a Traxxas. They're very overpriced, cheaply made with cheap materials, I could go on and on. And I did, that's why I recommend you go to that thread to see my posts. Just look at the Rustler, the chassis is a basic flat piece of plastic, and it's got a brushed system that is not very durabke, there's many that say how awful the XL5 and Titan motor is. It's just so ridiculously overpriced at $200. Redcat also has some nice vehicles, I will be purchasing their Volcano EPX sometime soon. And putting in a cheap Chinese brushless system in temporarily until I get a nice Castle system for it.

I have a redcat rs10 and haven't had any problems. All I have done to it is put axial wraith tires on it, wraith top links as lower ling's for better suspension angle, and upgraded to a 2s lipo battery. I am about to lockout the rear steer and set up a dig on the rear. Every mod I have done is by choice not neccessity. However my next rig will be a vaterra twin hammers.

I would recommend the Vkar Racing Bison 1/10 truggy.

If going Redcat, then the XBE or XTE Pro. I like more the BE because the roll cage is low profile. Both have waterproof electronics w metal gear steering servo. I have the short course truck, it needs a few mods to make it a basher.

The MadGear SC is the cheapest of them all and good basher. Slap a BS and done.
