Hi everyone, I am having trouble deciding what would be the best lipo setup to run my 1/18th scale dromida on a brushed 370 stock motor.

I have decided to try my dromida trucks with 2s lipos and lipo alarm buzzer in order to get longer run times and constant power during my runs and shorter charging times vs nimh batteries.

I have been looking @ different lipo batteries on bangood and could not figure out what would be the best battery spec for this project. Some 2s lipos indicate a 8c charge discharge rate vs 15c 20c etc. In this setup would the c rating have any repercussion ? What would you recommend? I will obviously monitor motor temps / time in order not to burn them up ;)

I do not want to go brushless on these little machines.

What would be the best cutoff for the lipos 3.1 3.2 volts?

    Thank you!

3.2 volts, i have the Dromida SC and it came brushless with a 5300kv motor and a NIHM battery. I bought a Dromida 2S 7.4V 1600mAh 20C lipo battery. The truck runs great. It's controllable with 20-30 minutes of run time.

Thank you for your input but it does not answer my question :) You are running your sc brushless and I want to keep the stock brushed motor and run a 2s lipo with buzzer alarm.

2S 7.4V 1600mAh 20C lipo should work good for you

These are the exact specs of the dromida lipo battery if I am correct ;). If I were to choose a lipo with a 8c instead of 20c do you think it would have a repercussion on the brushed motor?

I have not seen anyone use a 8c battery ,it always 20c or more. The 8c may be to slow of a discharge for your truck I would go with the 20c . As long as you do not go over a 7.4v battery you brushed motor should be good.
