Over time does marine grease wear off PLz answer
I would believe it will break down over time. I redo my trans and axles after every 3 times I go into water. I also give my rig a good spray of WD40 before I go out into the water it helps a little bit.......
i would say yes but im not certain as the grease i used was brown colour and after a couple of runs in water things seemed to firm up and the grease was blue after a good clean an regrease things were nice and free again.
Like every grease or oil it will wear down and will not perform as well. Especially when running in water, even though it's marine grease, it's not 100% waterproof. Also if you put it on gears after lots of running it ends up on the transmission case. It's better to take the old grease out and replace it with some new grease.
It will wear down over time. You shouldn't have to worry until it tightens up or squeaks.
I would re apply every year or after every 2-4 times you go in wet or muddy conditions.
I do the diffs in my buggy about every 6 months or so...
so i used to use the lu max and ran out lol.
My local Canadian Tire no longer carries that, would this work just as good? I've heard some good things about it.
That should be okay. I use a 4x4 heavy duty waterproof type grease in my rigs.
That should work well.
