You're welcome bro.. I know you were looking forward to it, so I might as well show it to you! You are part of the reason I filmed this :)

Many thanks, buddy! Nothing like seeing the same ESC model being waterproofed. Time for me to go visit the nearest AutoValue store and get some Plasti-Dip!

Awesome vids, I have read to actually open the esc casing and spray the plasti dip right on the circuitry... but I like this esc waterproofing method way better!

The original waterproofing video was a big help for me, that and the info I pumped Medic for. :haveaniceday:

There's one additional thing I've learned in my quest for Plasti Dip. I've found it in several locations, but so far only one place in town has the CLEAR Plasti Dip. I find it useful for not worrying about covering LED's up as you can see them right through it.

It's also available in a spray, but I find the dip works better.

Auto Value carries it in black and red, but most locations didn't have black when I looked.
Home Hardware carries it in black, red, blue, yellow, and white, but not clear (they have spray in clear though).
Industrial Plastics & Paints is the only place I've found with the clear, and they have it only in slightly bigger cans. They have several locations across Canada.

Plasti dip is good stuff no doubt. Years ago I went to town on my clod... I could almost not recognize my EVX esc and servo after a few dips.. lol, I kinda went crazy. Never an issue though! LOL

I've moved on to thinner products now as obviously I can't control myself.. LOL

    Hi Medic!
Please tell me one thing: Is it possible to waterproof a normal lipo battery without problems?

I'm affraid because of the heat when charging and in use.

Note that i don't intend to run under water as you do, only run without problems is i have to pass a small amount of water, do you understand?

Please let me know your opinion, ok?

My friend.. all ya gotta do is cover the lipo in a thin layer of silicone.. and you are good to go!! Just cover the seams and make sure its dry!
