SCX10 Drive-line angles. Whats too much?

hey guys, recently i had the brilliant idea to put the spare upper links in the rear lowers, to suck the wheelbase in to fit my k5 body. all was well , the wheelbase was magnificant, then i noticed the angle of the rear driveline yolk.

This is a rough painting of what it loosk like

and here is the actual pictures

here is the first, left side is the front, right side is the rear

    And a rear shot

i havent noticed any jitter in it, and the angle on the rear actually gets more straight when the shocks are extended while scaling. maybe some marine grease would help remove any friction that exists?

First step I would suggest is make your own links, Dribble has a vid if you want pointers. That might cut down the radical clocking of the rear axle, while giving you the freedom to adjust the wheel base as you need.

The driveline angle is too much when the driveshafts start binding. If they are spinning freely, you don't need to change anything. That being said, if you're wanting to change anything, I would start with shorter upper links in the rear. The rear axle doesn't need to be clocked that much.

I do agree as long as there isn't any binding you should be ok. It's more for looks. I, too, am cash limited but I just made the 4 link for the front and rear of my SCX for under $30.

Just something to think about when cash become a little less tight.
