Posted by MEDiC in Caribbean Crawling on March 10th, 2011 | 3 Comments »Well my friends.. I am back from our filming trip in Mexico. For those of you “just tuning in” to this story – The RCSparks Studio has been in Cancun Mexico filming a custom built Mini Rock Crawler – built as a collaborative effort by Forum members Stilist, Crawler Ted, and myself – RCSparks.
The one-of-a-kind “Spider” chassis was build and designed by Stilist, an experienced rock crawler based out of Calgary Alberta, along with Ted, owner of the infamous “Ted’s Garage & The Calgary Crawlers RC Crew” Purpose built for crawling coral and jagged rocks.. we out fitted this custom crawler with MIP steel driveshafts, custom cut Proline 1.9 Flat Iron Tires, a Tekin FXR ESC, A Castle Creations BEC, an upgraded losi brushed motor, and much much more. I travelled more than 6,013 km to our destination spot. I was able to visit exquisite coral reefs, capture jaw dropping crawling spots, and take you to one of the 8 Wonders of the World.. the Mayan Ruins in Chichen Itza, Mexico. and This rig was exceptional to photograph and film in action.

This is only a small glimpse of the upcoming photos and footage that I was able to gather for the RCSparks.com visitors. On this video/video shoot I did my best to put you in the drivers seat and truly bring you along on an EPIC RC ADVENTURE. By using the natural surroundings of the beautiful landscape of Mexico, and the vibrant colors of the land… you are going to discover the ultimate in RC Photography and mind blowing scenery. Never before has an an RC such as the SPIDER been photographed in these amazing places.. and these photos are the first of their kind- and exclusive to the RCSparks Studio.
In the coming weeks visitors to our site will be amazed and astounded by the overwhelming views and the originality of the photography & use of the crawler model. I will release pictures as they are prepared. Videos soon to follow
Enjoy!
