      Hey man I couldn't return your message, you need to clean out your inbox. About your question, the only other trail/crawler a little cheaper would be something like the the HPI Crawler King, but it needs a couple upgrades to the servo, the steering is really weak an the servor should be mounted on the front axel like the scx10, the next one is the shocks, they are way to soft and let the body roll to one side when driving because if the torque twist. Another thing is the links are not the best they will bend if your doing a lot of rock crawling. But this truck is about 250$ and after your needed upgrades your prob gona be over the 400$ mark, but it will get you out and driving and you can pick away at the upgrades as you go. I still advise the SCX10 though cause your getting the best truck on the market and the upgrades and customizing options are endless.
