I'm not sure, but 'vonclod' over on crawlcanada might.... & I emphasize the word 'might'.... Be able to steer you in the direction of a used aluminum body.... I think he has a fair bunch, or did anyway.... Doesn't hurt to ask him.

Other than that, the guy you already know about is the only other idea I have.... www.aluminumrcbodies.net I believe. If it helps, I was talking with him for awhile about possibly doing a deal on two cabs, truggy-style (with cab-backs).... A Hilux & a Chevy, & if I remember correctly, the price he spoke of was pretty decent.... About $80-$85 cdn for both, including shipping. That was for reinforced cabs as well.... I only needed to paint them when they arrived.

I'll keep my eyes open for any other options as well
Hope you get what you're looking for bro

they look pretty cool but won't they bend in a rollover and how well or easy is it to repair the bends/dents?

If you buy them reinforced, or with the reinforcing kits, they don't mangle as bad when the rig rolls.... From what I've seen, they're fairly easy to 'pop' the dents out of

I think thats part of the appeal for a scale truck it will look like real damage.

100% correct.. the more dents.. the more rugged and "real" iMO..! I dont mind having a few desnt in my rig.. the lexan bounces back too easy..lmao

Ahh ok cool, the reason I asked is cause I wouldn't want it to look like a crushed beer can after the first run lol. But a few dents and dings are good for me too.

Looking at some of the pics on the site it would all depend on how hard you thrash it.
