What ESC are you using, it may have a low voltage cut off built in.

Yea it looks like that one does not have lipo cutoff.

If you waterproof the lipo cutoff, you should be able to get it wet. However, I don't know if submersion is going to be a good idea.

Yeah I just want it to be bullet proof. I don't want any restrictions of where I can and can't go thats all. maybe if I plan to get wet I can just run a nimh for that part...

That would be better overall for that type of running as the Lipo's don't like water. I know you waterproofed yours, but nimh can handle water pretty easily.

Another option would be to get a Holmes Hobbies waterproof BRXL esc. It can handle up to 6S lipo and has a built in 6v bec. It's based off a Castle design so it has some of the same firmware. Auto lipo detection and cutoff is a key feature. Plus it is awesome for slow motor control and you can adjust the throttle and brake curves in castle link.

If you try and waterproof the type crankbait and i use then it will probably make the sounders redundant as any plasti dip getting into the ends would prevent air movement/vibration.
You could probably make them splash resistant but that is about it unless you seal it in a box?

I think it's overpriced. But it looks nice. The beauty of it all is its completely up to you. :)
