Oh man I'm MAJOR into flying! I basically have my land RCs for when its too windy. If the world was windless I'd prolly have nothing but planes. I have to admit I'm loving the nitro trucks though

I'm into the sky stuff as well, just like imtowman says... I love anything rc.

My flight rc are a blade400, mcx, Electrifly bi plane (still need to maiden it), and a super fun multiplex mini mag. All brushless besides the mcx.

Flying is super intense at times! I say go for it if your even slightly thinking of it.

Oh man, with enough practice the wind will be your friend. One of my favourite things to do on a really windy day is fly my Micro Beast. Its so fun sitting there half throttle and being able to spot land it in your friends hand, then pull up hard and watch it ROCKET across the field! So much fun..

@robscorc Ya I don't mind the wind too much.. It's just been windy, or snowing, or raining for MONTHS now.. pretty tired of it. And the only really stable plane I have right now is the cubby, which isn't great in high winds. (but it is brushless, with ailerons now, so its better than it was stock.) I just like a relaxing, smooth flight. You're probably right though, I will most likely learn to like the wind eventually. I am working on a corsair right now though, that should handle better in the wind fasho! :D

I'm a Heli guy first but the planes are great for flying something a bit more relaxing.
Right now I'm flying a Trex 550 3G, Parkzone Wildcat and a Parkzone Thunderbolt

I was flying my modified Parkzone wildcat on the weekend.. That dang things MUST go over 130 km/h.. Its NUTZ!! Power 15 motor, 50 amp Castle ICE esc, 3 cell 2250 45C Thunder Power batts, and a 10x10 APC prop.. MAD POWER!! and still glides very well! Id recommend the mod to anyone wanting more speed.. Cheap plane, wicked fun!

I always loved the idea of building and flying a plane. When I was sixteen or so a buddy from high school at a trailer that he would fly around and let me take the stick here and there. Throughout the year he was working on a Super Scale sport plane. After 11 months it was finished so we loaded it up into his car and took off out to the club. The head guy or instructor (dont really recall his title) was the guy who would do the first flight and set the trims for ya.

He said it basically didnt need any trim set, so coming in from maiden flight to land, about 15 feet off the ground it took a huge gust of wind and crashed hard. Basically demolished the entire thing. My friend gave up rc from that day on. I've been paranoid about owning my own plane too for that reason.
