Well i have just pulled my Berg apart as i eagerly check the post each day for my New BWD Wedge chassis and Dub Cab to turn up i decided to Clock my front Axle.
I had never done this before as it interfered with my Steering set up, so in order for me to mount the Servo i had to come up with a new mount.
What i did was to take the Enroute New Age / Berg bumper the none of us ever use and used it like this.

    Very cool. Nice idea.

How did you clock the front axle. Looking to do the same withthe Bully axles but I need a jig for it, don't trust my skills enough to do it with the equipment at hand.

The Berg axles are mounted to the gear boxes by 3x M3Bolts, there are 3x bolt holes in each side of the gear box but there 6x bolt holes in each Axle tube.
Sorry i cant be of any more help other than on a Berg its Straight forward.

Oh they made it nice and easy then. The Bully's are held on with 4 screws but thats all the holes there is. I have to re drill the 4 holes in the tubes to clock them.

If it were me i would strip the axle tube down find something that fits inside of the axle tube (like a nice big bolt) put that though a plate and secure, drop it in the axle tube drill though the 4x hole you have and then........... the hard part :slow:

This is for the bully cvd's but in theory it wouldn't be a whole lot different. The theory is the same.

After looking at your axles again closer all you need to do is the cvd itself.

Just do a little at a time. There is always a point where it does no extra good. Work your way up to that point. No need to weaken the cvd more than you have to.

Well thats not a CVD. Its a simple dog bone. You will get alot better turning with a CVD than a dog bone any day. There will also be less binding with the wheels turned with CVD's. The CVD's will also take out alot of the slop.

After searching for a CVD for your axles all I can say is not too many options in that department. I didn't look long but the prospects look few.

I would try rccrawler.com and see what people are using. There is alot of info there as they have a berg only section. They are somewhat opinionated LOL though.
