Alright, Im looking to buy an Axial scx-10, its going my first crawler/scaler so bear with me as I might have some newbie questions.

If you had $800 (including the price of the truck so about $450-400 in upgrades) what would you upgrade or add extra into the truck? Ie. servo, esc, motor.

Ive been looking at some dual motor setups and I know they're all over the forums (so it's not needed to answer that question) Any input helps,

    Thanks

I would get a kit version. they come with better shocks, and aluminum links.

that way, I could put whatever electronics I wanted.

probably, if I had enough money, I would go with a tekin esc( maybe an rx8) and their hand wound brushed motor. savox waterproof servo. all metal tranny gears, possibly a dual motor setup. and probably better tires.

then I would spend the rest in scale stuff.

but, that's just me. this is your truck.

Oh ya, and it would help if all electronics mentioned are waterproof

The only thing that i mentioned that isnt waterproof is the rx8 esc. But you can waterproof it youself. Its not too hard.

All steel transmission gears from RRP
    Hi torque savox waterproof servo
Spectrum 4 channel transmitter (so you can add lights and winch later)
Motor, esc and battery of your choice

And the castle sct system is water proof as per castle's statement I haven't tested it. You coa find them for around $100 give or take where you look.
