So i have an old crocodile hunter rc that i want to make fit my scx10, the body is 1/12th scale (i think) so its a bit short and leaves the last bit of frame and battery exposed, was planning on using aluminum tubing and threaded rod plus nuts to extend it out and add a gap in between the back and the cab. then building a twin tire carrier in between. Aluminum god idea? bad idea? any other ways i could do this? lookin for another opinion before i start cutting it up
Definitly have my mind set on building the tire carrier between the bed/tray and the cab, any ideas are appreciated though

Tires came in, body is too small to run the twin tire carrier like i wanted but i decided on one in the middle and one on top instead, i like the way it looks
