oh cheers dude!!! not much there yet, but working on it!!!!! LOL!!
Looking good Greenie! Liking the black & white, I've done a few RC racecars in b&w too.
Well, talk about bringing a thread back from the DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, a mate of mine had an AX-10, decided he wanted to trail.
I said give me the rig, I have parts and chassis, almost enough to turn it into a trail rig....
months pass, we still jibber on about trailing, and one foggy Saturday afternoon, while at my place, talking Club stuff, turns to me and says, "aaah, you can keep the parts off the AX-10 to make your trail rig again, I'm gonna buy a new one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
we'll, needles to say, I spat my coffee everywhere in disbelief!! I offered to buy it, nope, "Keep it!!!"
totally awesome stuff!!! so I own him big time for that one!!!!!!!
so even to my own disbelief, the Dingo is making a come back!!! YAY!!!!!
Sweet dude!!! That's awesome!!! ..............when are we hitting up the trails??? lol
all was going well on the rebuild.....
wire on the esc died.................
the esc is fine, but the receiver wire is broken, 1mm off the board, and cant solder in a new wire
Bummer. I could fix that for you, but it's a little far to travel (or ship it). Surely there must be someone around half decent at soldering...
With that paint you either need a Stormtrooper or Scout Trooper for a driver.
yeah, there is one lot here that might be able, a service repair lot for house hold goods. going to ring later. If I could split the board, is have a crack at it myself, just cant get the solder off the pins to split it!!!!!
H HA HA HA!!!!
never thought of that LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
as always required, mandatory flex shot...............
.................one day I MIGHT ACTUALLY CLEAN my work bench........... BWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH HA HA HA!!!
That is clean buddy if you can find your stuff it is perfect. Just a suggestion but if you want to do a cheap driveline upgrade. I used epoxy and filled the male side now they won't crush and spin out from the torque you motor produces
So this means we can finally go for a trail run!?
What shocks are those?
no till I find an esc, as my Tekin lost a wire .... working on it
yeah, no idea, but I'm 2 shocks down(as, well, the 6er needs 6!! LOL!!!) so had to use them
What wire did you lose on the esc?
receiver red wire, about a 1mm from the board, 3 strands of wire left attached. no idea how, as it was basically glued into my water proof box!!!
Industrial Technik, 115 Galvin Street do some really good soldering! ( if you need to get it done) They soldered up my receiver antenna when I pulled it out along with the esc wire :XD: And it works like new!
Man that thing has tons of flex!! how did you do that??
AX-10 shockies. not sure how it will perform yet........ hopefully they will work fine for now, till I can get around to buying some standard shockies for it
ahh new there must have been something a bit different cos my scx10 doesnt get anywhere near that!!
Neither does mine! Greenies could crawl all over mine no problems!
I might take them if you get your new ones and wanna get rid of em!
