Ok so i was thinking about how to cut my foams in my new MT baja claws. Hers a pic of what i was thinking. I know star cut needs more then 5 points but hey i was using paint lol. How would just cutting the foam thinner affect the wheel? To me it seems the star would cause a slight bounce. If i cut a circle section out of the inside of the foam would it not conform to the ground smoothly giving good traction without the slight bounce i think star cut will give me?

Personally I have not noticed any bounce with star cut foams. I am now running 5.75 in tires with the memory foams from 2.2 Proline flat irons, work great for me.
