What is a good short course basher that is durable. Either kit or rtr and no traxxas slash cuz a couple of my friends have them. I prefer 4wd and I don't really have a price limit. Under 700

I don't own any short course truck but HPI, Losi and Team Associated are very good brands that make short course trucks.

the HPI blitz :) and replace anything you break with RPM stuff for added bashability . I do not have one yet but it is next on my list and has a great basher rating as well as being a competitive truck ..
my friend also has the 4x4 slash ultimate ,and my other bud is eyeing the associated sc10 ,

I like the ecx torments they are low priced and seem to hold up well, ive put my 2wd through hell and haven't had any major breakage, the 4x4 is $240, which leaves you with a lot left for upgrades and such,it has a spectrum rx/tx, the tires are pretty good, a lot better than the stock slash tires, and it comes with shaft driven metal gear diffs, the esc is lipo ready, and easily upgraded to a brushless combo, you cant get a better truck at twice the price IMHO.

Based off my experience with LOSI Troy Lee Design SCT - I would recommend that. I have had nothing but good luck with it.
