For sure!!! Have a new shaft here and have some more tuning to do it is also repainted black
What are the insides?
What did you do to make that axle? The insides? I see it's two front axle covers, but, how did you make the inside happen? Any pics or tips would be awesome. Thanks!
I know Medic said Overkill was for 'pushin & pullin', but heres something for inspiration to put on the back, instead of a boring old flat bed etc. Just think of all the logging/hauling videos

Btw, is it just me or is the red LED behind Overkill's front radiator grill annoying in a 'pulls you out of the scale fantasy' kind way? Hmmm, I think I need to get our more
Ripper of a truck you've got. Im in the process of building a 6 wheel steer scx10 at the moment and im am stuck with how to mount the servos on the back and middle axle. any advice is appreciated.
I was watching videos and I don't feel like going throught 11 pages of replies what was the 5th motor for?
It was for the snowblower. The rx8 smoked out during the first test.
Correct!!!! its running again though....
it uses 2 sets of gears: 2 small, one large (two output gears one center)
Lots of trial and error haha look back in the thread their are some pics I believe
What smoker was used in this build?
That's so cool
You have really done a good job replicating medic's build
Keep it up!!!
Dude, DJ is the one that did the build for overkill
he is such an awesome builder to be able to build the black widow and overkill
No worries, it's hard for me to believe that someone my nephews age is that skilled an RC builder... Kids got skills
I'm just reading this through & your the second person to have asked about how DJ did the middle axle. If it hasn't been answered, can someone please post it? I'd love to know too.
Ya add me to that 'looser' club too. I'd proudly join Lol! We can call the it 'Club Mepic'
Hay DJ RCEngineer, have you or could you, make a instructional video of how to make an axle like the center axle on HD Overkill? The technique you used to make a center axle (like on HD Overkill), could that technique be used to make a center axle for a 6X6 Wraith? Wasn't sure if the pumpkin being off center would cause a problem, that & to be honest, not exactly sure how you made Overkill's center axle.
Greenie made a tutorial on how to do this with pics. You can find it here: how to make middle axle
Should be possible with the wraith axles, just have to flip the shell over so that the pumpkins meet up
nice one lout!!!
very simple tutorial, but hope it helps!
Hey yeah Greenie's looks great and I think there are pics in this thread. As far as a wraith you cannot with out lots of mods as its not a split axle it had a diff cover so you would have to try your luck at cutting to cases down the middle OR making a special diff cup.
