Hopefully the stock esc can handle it. [IMG]
Now waiting on my axle extentions, aluminum rear hubs, and my front rpm a arms.

Burnt out my esc with this motor. So it's back to fabrication till it gets here. [IMG][IMG][IMG]
Still gotta make a lense for my lights. Have to buy another one of those lights and mod it. Added my wheel spacers.
And my basher bumper from t-bone racing.

That could work. But I run 3s. So I only have 3s lipos. I could make a few 2s lipos out of them. Besides I already ordered a hobbyking 100a 4s capable esc. Granted I'll have to waterproof it. None the less I appreciate your suggestion.

And guys do not buy the radient reakor 3500kv system. It may be cheap but it's garbadge in my opnion. Maybe if you only run 2s or nimh. But with 3 s it got so hot it melted the inner shield then started to melt the decals off the motor. This is with stock gearing. Even geared it down.

[IMG] got bored and decided to investigate. [IMG] from what I read double board esc's have problems with heat. And they used silicone to hold the heatsink. Silicone is an insulator. No wonder these get hot. Hopefully it didn't fry my motor. It melted the copper in the positive and one of the motor leads.

Or that burnt out and in turn cause the esc to struggle more. I did notice weak steering on the last pack. I only have 10 3s packs through this setup.

[IMG][IMG][IMG] new aluminum rear hubs, wheel spacers, and rpm front a arms.
And I had to hollow out the battery spot to hold my bigger lipos.

Making my tail lights and putting them in. [IMG][IMG][IMG]
Does it look better with or without the tail light decals?

[IMG][IMG][IMG] as of now the lights are powered from a single cell out of a Lipo I hacked up. Bought used off someone. He said he had another. So I sent money through PayPal. Needless to say both 3s were bad. Instead of tossing them I made a good one and had a cell left over. He also sent me a 6s for free. I have nothing 6s. So I made 2 3s out of them. He tried the no charger excuse. I asked if he has a multi-meter. He has yet to respond. I did find good (new) high capacity lipos for cheap.

Updates on my Helion. Body protector. Well the roof mainly. Anyone have any other ideas of how to protect a body? My truggy body didn't fair well after a few flips. [IMG]

It looks good. Some guy's spray rino liner on body's to make them tough. But It looks ugly if done on the outside. Also when u get the new esc and go play stop to check the battery, esc ,and motor temps. From my experience with brushless setups geared to low will cause more motor heat. Too high will cause more esc heat. Also the batteries output plays a role . if your Lipo can output 100 amps constant it is enough. But if it only puts out say 40 amps it could be the source of over heating. As the motor and esc could be demanding more amps than available. It will cause heat issues through out.

I think the motor went because it was a 2 pole. Not enough power for the size. And most of the time I run 2 lipos in parallel. So geared low motor hot, took high esc hot. Stock was 15 tooth. With the bigger tires and this motor I figure 14, and with my small paddles I figure 17 tooth. But I have an IR gun so I'll keep an eye on it. I never thought of bed liner on the inside. I was using duct tape. Suppose it's not that much different in weight. Thanks for the advice.

Just need the other headlight now. That one isn't angled the best and was a pos. But I couldn't get it off to fix it if I tried. My esc should be here today. Can't wait.
