    Hey everybody. Just joined the forums I am a 15 year old who lives on a farm and has 2 redcat rc trucks. A brushless terremoto and a nitro earthquake.

    I like my electric but my nitro has given me some headaches so i got it tuned at the place we bought it at and i got it broke in after 2 years of owning it. LOL

    Yes Plug and Play does have its advantages..
    Nitro is handy for teaching you micro-mechanics which can then lead on to you fixing weedwacker motors and chainsaws !

    nitro also has the sound of a motor. something us motor heads love to hear .
    but for a first rc ,i agree that electric is much simpler to get going
