Hi about a month ago I bought a nitrotek monster t and I have never been able to get it to run the idle goes so high the wheels keep turning and the idle screw came out .
So I’m looking to buy a new nitro rc .
Any specific brands I should look for or avoid??
It will be second hand so I shouldn’t have to do breaking in.

It's up to you! If your tired of nitro and you want something that's more plug in and play, go electric.

Have you brought the truck to a Local Hobby SHop in your area to have them look at it and see if they can fix it for you? If the truck is so NEW, it would seem kinda silly to abandon it and get another New one when you could be learning more about it and how it operates more before diving into another New vehicle. Just a thought..

I bought it online from a company who won’t take it back.
Unfourtunetly it won’t even start now and I took the engine apart and there are bit of metal that have com doff everywhere.
So I would buy a new engine but I don’t know if that one will break aswell

I did take it to a hobby shop near me but they wouldn’t let me in the door with it because of the brand

I am sorry to hear this, unfortunately there are some of these companies out there that do not stand behind their products. I myself have had a few Nitro Vehicles, but I have been lucky that they have given me many years of almost trouble free use besides normal tuning and adjustments. I have been doing way more myself with Electric vehicles for many years now just for the ease of Charge the Pack and Go.. But Nitro has come a long way since I first got into this great Hobby over 25 years ago. Best of luck with your "dead" RC, and hopefully that experience will take a turn for the better in your future RC endeavors..
