Well ordered the Hobby engine crane a while back ,have had it for a few weeks ,letting my 2 yr old play with it some in his sandbox,he's been giving the slipper clutches a good workout ,lol !!
Will give it a overhaul ,want to build a dragline bucket for it soon , first to go through the model remove the 49 MHz gear, will secure the slipper clutches and try the factory gearboxes to run the spool for the boom, bucket lift .Will add a metal gear motor for the bucket winch .Ordered a few parts so far ,bruder replacement tracks,rc4wd fairlead ,slipring
Have a few pics so far of the breakdown

Well the crane is still coming along ,still have a ways to go before I'm draglining ,waiting on some esc parts to get the tracks going . The gear boxes seem to be working well along with the rc4wd winch .Give her a new paint job also ,orange with white cab.Short vid of going through the motions ,using a wrench for weight for the moment ,have a start on the bucket
