would these fit?
rusty is awsome were did you get your dif gears
Yes by all means put that 4600kv castle in there take a video of the first run before something breaks
Too be fair and with some of the earlier posts from you it would also be fair for those with these vehicles to tell you what it costs to make the vehicle do this on a consistent basis.
I guarantee Azrayel74 has built this truck up very well to do this without parts loss. I can guarantee it wasn't cheap.
I was just about to add -
In real numbers you will understand, and this is not to dissuade you from doing any thing... Some of the rigs you have looked at are close to the $1000 mark, and a few even more. Look around ebay, RC swap-meet's, or other place's that sell Used RC's and you will prices of $600 or so. This just so you understand, what you want to do can be done, but it's not cheap by any means.
Its been quite some time since I built that speed machine.. and even built up, with HD Diffs, and other good parts... shortly after I filmed this... I ripped one of the axle shafts out and split the rear axle in 2 pieces... Anything is possible... but the faster you build.. and go, the more parts your going to break.. that's the plain and simple truth.. specially in a rig like the SCX-10. Now I will admit.. it was one HELL of a good time , while it lasted... upgraded parts were definitely an option for me... I chose to tear it down and rebuild it into something else... BUT if this is truly what your looking to want to do... I can offer some suggestions for parts to make things a bit more durable. Hit me up with a PM if you want more info and ill gladly lookup and send you links for suggestions of parts.
ok im staying with my hpi in a bit i got some pics.:B:
Can I ask why you posted what is closer to a scaler than an actual comp crawler in a forum about comp crawlers?
I have yet to see anything in a comp crawler that will do over maybe 5 miles an hour at best and by far nothing in a comp crawler that has so much weight up as high as you do.
Examples of comp crawlers.
I think what you are looking for is a scaler or even a formula off road. It is plainly evident you are not looking for comp crawling advice.
well ill go for comp/mudder what turn motor
Lets see some video!
i didnt run the brushless. but i got a few stock vids.
