i currently own 2 scx10's, a dingo;

    and a JK:

    I like both of these scx10's very much, and am very satisfied with the two, with no need for another.

    So i go into the LHS today to order a R1 buggy, and one of the employees approaches me and asks if i want to buy his brand new (only driven once) honcho for $150. I initially said no, because as i stated before, i dont need another scx10. but as im thinking about it, im about to spend at LEAST $125 on a electronics system. so i ask the guy if he'll go down to 125 and lo and behold he does.

    So the predicament: do i buy another scx10 that i dont need to jack the electrics, which are sufficient, but not the best, and get a free roller out of the deal, or do i go ahead and buy better electrics for the R1, and skip the honcho purchase? keep in mind that i have to buy electrics anyway.

    my main concern is having another scx10 thats just the same as my dingo. i mean how can i make this one unique? i already put wraith axles on the JK, what else can i do to make a new scx10 truly unique, and not just another clone ofa truck that i already have.

    im so back and forth i thought id get some outside opinion. hopefully i adequately explained my predicament.
    thanks in advance for any help offered.

    I have somewhere around 4 or 5 SCX_10 chassis's around here.. every single one is unique and different so personally.. id take the deal on the SCX. Look around the forums, there are hundreds.. or more.. SCX_10 builds and no 1 rig is like someone elses... always different new and unusual things to be done... Just my personal preference I guess...

    Yea thanks, i guess thats the way im leaning. 125$ new honcho is kind of a steal. i was kinda reserved because i was going to put better electrics in the R1, but i guess 'free' electrics trump all. and youre right, i can find SOMETHING to do to make the new scx10 unique

    I would give that for a honcho minus electronics in a heart beat

    Well for my 2 cents, id say stick with the r1.
    Ya buying elecs anyways. An have 2 sxc. The r1 will make for a good change for you my friend. Variety is the spice if life isnt it lol. The r1s are different, and parts are interchangable, drive shafts gear boxes hexes wheels, I got wraith bottom links and home made top links. So to me 150 buks on elecs, man the r1 will make ya smile all day.
