Awesome touches! Those are sweet
Thanks again, up to the next updates.
OK, cowboy Duke did made it to the final stage. Introducing my new "big mouth" all Americano amigo. He gives something extra to my cj7.
No doubt here: it's a Jeep.
"rope" theme went further outside...
Upgraded Warn Winch....
Side mirrors mounted, extra stiffness bar (styreen).
Next up: weathering, or more like "dusting" up. The body already has some "rusty" spots. What I'll do next is make it looks like having cross the red dirt Australia down under landscape using these tools:
Highlighting panel lines, not to much, keeping it simple.
Pale black rock slider....
Jeep front, highlighting the headlights...
The rope needs some touches too..
A new black hardtop doesn't go well with the rest of it so gently brushed that up a bit too..
Final results are hard to see on picture but I'm happy with how things turned out..... now iI can breathe LOL
Nicely red 3D printed Jerry can and carrier. Not going for the red color and chooses to go military green instead.
Add spare wheel and scale rope to final the rear end...
"licence to climb"
Looks sick man!! Love all the little details
Just gets better and better, I didn't think it was possible! Your very creative and it's one of the best builds I've ever seen! Where did you get the winch?
It's one of those Chinese winch with some styreen and brass add on.
Well folks, all good things come to an end. Last picture tsunami with.... Bullitt hole?
Who's to blame?
Yup, zombie Duke! Revenge for cutting off his head
(Had a small imperfection on my old lexan front screen so a Bullitt hole is more attractive.)
No Jeep without the stars and stripes. This time not in black and white like the rest but in color, it gives that something extra...
"One life Live it" Land Rover? Not on this Jeep.
Aerial antenna for radio on the go...
Gear Head decal for appreciation on them fine rim.
Oh no, he's still there....
Maybe this will help LOL
Here's a "before and after" comparison.
That's it, done for now. Next week going to hit a long track, so hopefully the hardware can stand the test.
Thanks for watching!
I'm loving this build Hottwheels. Your CJ-7 is looking amazing. Nice brazing too.
Yup that is some detailed skill you got there friend. what an amazing rig!
How about a run video ?
Thanks folks. Video will be coming soon.
I prefer the "before" version.....
Looks sweet nicely done
That is one sweet build...................... Great work on the extra's
Been a while sinds last year but its all hot and warm here in Holland so itching to do some changes to my Jeep. Torn between keeping the hardtop or ditching it and go topless. Finaly took out my "chainsaw dremel" and started cutting. man I hate this cutting stuff, really bad at this. It wasn't straight at all so i needed to filed alot pfffff
Anyway got it shapped up pretty good, top of the front window frame was a fixerupper though. Rear bed was tricky, never fab a full rear bed before with somuch styreen so took a deep breath...go!
Lol filing and sanding is better than filling love the cj i wanted to do a conversion on the wifes yj but she wont let me chop it up
