Mud Bog Honcho
new to the forum, hope you all enjoy my buried honcho on 2.2 TSL Swampers
Here are some old pics. I haven't had time to go out in the daylight and get some good run time in.
I have a new setup now that I need to try though.
My bad ass trail Summit I built a few years ago.
DeWalt on 4s. RC4WD Roc Lox and Axial beadlocks

Just helping and add one u forgot to post
I think I have found my favorite thread .... mudding is the reason for me getting a SCX10 in the first place ... hopefully I will get some pics up soon.
heres my wraith rippin up my course!!
not a lot of mud that came off
cus i was only running a 55t motor and low torquey gears
but but now last night i put in a 3500kv traxxas vlx motor and 3s max esc
let me tell yah
you wont know where it is when its in the mud
I was set on something that could get wet, really wet,I still need to get an scx10
i love mine
but my wraith hauls A$$ now and i love it a lot now
I like both rigs ... my choice was fueled by price ..and a used honcho is what i found a deal on first . btw I took it mudding for the first time today and stuck my first motor LOL dang I didn't put the panty hose on .... oh well at least mt lipo and receiver came through ok .... and Iv'e allready pulled the motor apart ( Reedy 27 t brushed ) one of the brushes was stuck ... so I think it will run again.
Holy non focus ( batman )Update: got the motor running again ..... and learned that it is JDM ( and I figured it was an elcheapo )
playing again ( better camera )
bad quality but had to throw it up
i got more mud!!
i actually got stuck in this crap
Well I thought I had done a "Mud Run" but after seeing what yall are doing Im gonna have to step it up...... gonna watch the Video medic made on waterproofing one more time to do my electronics (already did the Axles/Trans with marine grease) an after I get the Electronics done I will revisit this thread with some Muddin pics of my own...... just hope I dont need a recovery vehicle as I dont know anyone local with another scaler of any kind an I dont have a winch yet......:XD:
sounds good bud, its pretty easy to water resist electronics. plasti dip and marine grease and i always use silicone
lucky for me Ive already got everything I need to do it. Anything elts I can do to prevent mud/trash from getting into my motor (stock 27T brushed)
