your best bet for a cheap rc is to shop used on ebay . Ive seen a few scx10's go for around 200-250 ... if u find one that cheap there will most likely be something broke or missing ... but we can help guide you through a repair or find the missing piece. you can also pick up rollers for 200 ish or even a new dingo kit for 250 ( the kit will not have any electronics or be assembled .

From what I have seen $45.90 to $100 is going to get you a set of tires minus the wheels, for a 1/10 scale. I did see a rather interesting toy grade crawler at a gas station for about $40

Never seen a mud bog truck from any of the RC manufacturers factory built. You could build one easy enough, but it won't be under a $100 bucks. In fact some of the parts are going to be more than that.

Wheels and tires alone on this were over 100. The radio was another 100, the motor 40ish, the water proof speed control another 45ish, steering servo 37ish... so $322 low ball estimate.

Which that doesn't count the initial cost of: the truck, the batteries, the longer suspension links, the up graded axle shafts in the front axle, the axle servo mount or the semi truck body. So probably close to $450-500 bucks in this truck. And it wouldn't make a good mud truck, as the batteries and the motor don't have the jam for the wheel speed you need for a good mud truck.

I hate to be the bad guy, but unless you can find a used truck on the cheap with water proof electronics... its going to cost some coin to build what you want.

I'd recommend the $72 (shipped from USA on eBay) FEIYUE FY03 rock racer. If you want a truck body, they run about $12 shipped on Banggood. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
