There I was wondering what my next build would be. watching youtube for inspiration, I saw a video of 4wd RC VW bug. that got my mind rambling and I purchased a Rerelease of Tamiya's Sand Scorcher. Plus I had a drill index with more empty slots than Trump's casino lying about, i decided it could be come a trailer It originally had a sun roof... not the direction I wanted to go in... Lil body work Plus the front end was a seperate piece making a hidious line across the hood, I decided it needed to go. There was also casting marks on the front fenders I sanded out. I just ran with it , the tape left a hideous residue that was a pain to remove Now for decals... with the help of my 9 year old this is what we decided I felt both the front and rear could be similar for bumpers and not look too awfull I decided to go with tandem winches, Ill use a remote and a toggle switch to change between front and rear winch...
Any Ideas on a name for this amalgamation?

Drivetrain? chassis? well that was near a nightmare. 9.5" ish wheelbase was my goal, I wanted not to use Tamiya (personal preference), I found a MST CFX Unimog kit WITH pinion ESC and a 26T motor. 242, 252, or 262mm wheel base and everything to do it was included to include half a drive shaft to achieve 262 mm. All included in one nice box, $230 delivered! I spent a FEW hours deciding on tire size "30's"
    "33's"
    "36's"
Ultimately I split the difference 33's and what better color to make the rims? gold of course I felt it was a mild "groovy" feel To do list is fa r from complete....
wainting on winches, controller for winches, and receivers
Lights are always a necessity for my builds note the hidden turn signal. I decided to make them steady on eventually they will be white in the rear and the fron markers will stay yellow steady as well side by side with Kaiserstan... It rests on 120mm tires ..... more to come

That’s a really cool little bug you got there! I like the originality. I’m guessing you like the combinations of black and red lol!
