    I got a Axial Scx10 Deadbolt. New to the Rc off-road scene, but been four-wheelin all my life. Ready to tear some sh** up!

    welcome to the forum ....
    so you want to get it wet
    .
    this is basically how i water proof my receivers ...only i use 5 min epoxy in the double syringe
    .
    and for the axles and transmission I use white lithium grease ... it is much smoother then the blue marine grease ....
    .
    also before and after each day out and wash down i lube the exposed joints and bearings with PB blaster

    I got a brand new Deadbolt. What do I need to waterproof, grease and lube? I got on blaster and spray silicone. What else?

    you need to wp the receiver then almost fill the axles with the grease and put a good amount in the transmission ... after that you are the best you can be .... the servo can be plastidiped ... but i would run it and get a wp servo to replace it with ...
