Does anyone have any ideas on how I could paint the metal panels. I was thinking King plastidip but I really don't know what will hold up. Maybe rustoleum
Finally got my screws in to finish up the body. Just waiting on my front springs to arrive to finish up.
Very cool. Liking your work!
Could I get your guys opinion on paint for the body. I was thinking painting the cage either a gloss black or gloss white and then doing the panels either red, black or white. What combo do you think I should do?
Black cage with red panels would get my vote.
That is what I was leaning towards too. Thanks for the input
Looks good. For paint it is metal . so enamel primer then enamel paint. Maybe even do some clear coat over the color. For that extra gloss look. Or spray plastidip. Will give a Matt finish. And can be peeled off to change the color. You can even use plastidip. Over The cured paint job. The plasti dip will be cheaper as u only need the one can.
I ended up using the Valparaiso paint and it seemed to work very well. The true test will be when I get out on the dirt.
Can't wait to see what it looks like all painted up!
Going to assemble it when I get home from school
also have my music grad just trying to find some longer screws so I can mount it.
Darn auto correct always screws everything up. What I meant to say was that I also have my mud guard but I need to get some longer screws in order to mount it.
Nice work. It's looking good with the exposed cage
just finished making some simple cheap sway bar quick disconnects. I also painted my diff cover.
