Just picked this up and really excited to get it going. Need batteries , charger, and transponder... then comes tires (for racing) and new body (SVT raptor body).

First mod was I changed the numbers on the body from 17 to 56 which was my grandfather's race numbers. Love ya and RIP Grandpa!!

    Here are some pics

    Nice!!!!
Just remember if ya using you race truck as a basher, it will hamper your race set up.
it's not a biggy, just a heads up that's all.

But man, I love the SC-10s, I'm really thinking of swapping over to AE soon, and ditch the Blitz as a racer.
    NICE buy!!!!

Haha. I've heard of TA trucks being great for racing but not for bashing. Although, I have heard people stating that they're overbuilt and tough as nails.

I agree on the overly built part!!! I bought one off a buddy for $100 cuz he was moving and it was a pain to work on!

It's better overbuilt, hard to work on and tough as hell than under built and brittle.

Ya, I'm aware it may mess with my racing set up so I might have to get a seperate other r/c for bashing :haveaniceday:

Thanks Code, I'm going to run it as is. Just change the tires. Then go from there... the motor is a 3300 Reedy I beleive which should be sufficient. The racetrack guy said it is. I can't wait to get it on the track!!!! :omg:

Pic of the stuff that finally came last night. I ordered all of it from hobbyking and it was on backorder. Waited about a month for it.

I had one of them it was a great truck I don't think I broke anything on mine apart from a factory team shock shaft (still not sure how that happened). But I then moved to a 5ive and sold my SC10 which some of me wishes I hadn't sold it as it was a lot of fun.

Love the truck and the body Domindart, I was looking for one but ended up buying a just built and never raced Losi TLR 22sct. What are you running for motor and esc in it? In the one picture it looked like a Hobbyking X car ESC, if so are you happy with it? I was thinking about tossing my Hobbyking X car 45a esc and going to something better quality. What do you think is it a keeper or will you be replacing it?
