Yea I was considering that exact thing as I looked at the pics/parts list. Id be curious to see which costs more a new rolling chassis or just ordering the parts and upgrade what I want. an original rc kit lmao

So this weekend while waiting on more parts to come in I decided to start putting together all the spare parts. So I guess this is where the thread comes full circle this is my Slash Rebuild and upgraded build.

Here are some side by side comparisons.

    That's funny right there!!!

So I can see and order going in for the few missing parts (sun total about $20 probably) for the original chassis!

Yeah I got carried away. The original chassis needs ESC and motor, and a front bumper and its fully functional and running. The new one is waiting on a reciever.

I've finished the build on my Track chassis. I still have some parts to get for the Bashing chassis. I dont have a body yet for the track chassis except the stock body. Still working on the paint for the Bashing body the Silverado HD2500 from Pro-Line. Here are some finished pics of the blacked out track chassis.

    Update.

Well nothing has changed yet I went to my LBS and picked up some paint for the body. But the weather has been so cold and wet to paint it yet. So ive been ordering parts slowly for the basher. I'm now going to dub it "Beast" and the track chassis "Beauty" haha.

I got some more parts in for the beast version of the upgrade. Ordered some 2.2 wheels and some nice big tires to go with them cant wait for my motor and esc combo to come in later this week.

I ordered 2 different complete sets to see what worked better. The black wheels are HPI and the white ones are RPM dyeable both 2.2s

Also got 2 different sets of tires from RC4WD, so I have a good set of options.

This is that they look like mocked up on the chassis.

This show how much offset they are.
