So I've been looking into getting a new car, mainly for bashing but maybe for at the track once in a while, but not necessarily for racing. And I've narrowed it down to three options: 1. Traxxas Slash 2WD VXL with OBA, 2. Arrma Typhon 6s 4wd buggy, or option 3. A Axial Yeti. All thoughts and opinions are appreciated, especially from those with experience with one or more of the vehicles mentioned above!

personally, i'd go with the yeti, but the score trophy truck version not the buggy version.

we know your pain:indifferent: the 6S one sounds like the best to me but is is all about what you want to do the most . it will be best for the track ... the yetti is a trail ,basher racer kinda rig , the yeti score that Darkside mentioned will be a bit better racer ... the 2wd slash will be tougher to navigate the track because it is 2wd . but once dialed in it will be good as well . running the 6S model on say 4S will make it more tame for general fun ... then use the 6S for all out speed :) but any of the 4wd ones will handle better on all surfaces so they make better bashers all though the slash is known to be tough ...
    .
if you break a part see if there is a RPM replacement their plastic is super tough and when bashing plastic adsorbs more impact . metal transfers shock to the next part .
so use metal when there is not a tough enough plastic one avalibile.

I think I'm going to go for the Typhon, because 6s loll, and because it does come with some aluminum right out of the box, and I've been looking for a 4WD buggy for a while now.

4wd buggys are awesome and the fast cars on the track.
some big cushy tires will help you bash any rig so the tires take the impact
..then use the stock tires for the track

all three vehicles are so different that you need to pick what is best to make you happy ...this is the way it looks to me ...there is an apple an orange and a pear ,,,,,and every time I am going to pick what I want most ,,,and that is ,,,,the fried peanut butter and banana sandwich:) .
