I have an scx10, on 2.2's and 110mm kings, and Emaxx shafts. Stock ESC and receiver and savox servo. The issue im having is the esc is getttin spotty and jolty. I can pull the trigger and itll drive bout 4ft then just stop and ill let off and pull and hold it again and it just jumps forward, same with reverse. I thought that it might be because I had a 19T on it, so i tried my 27T, still did it. so I tried my 55T... its just starting a pattern. All motors getting hot and even the connector from the esc to the battery. So then I tried to recalibrate my esc, and it recalibrated just fine. But im still getting the spottiness... It acts like its binding up but without a motor everything will spin freely.... can someone help or give me some input please

Have you tried to run the motor off the truck?

I would start a process of elimination then.
Unhook the front or rear driveshaft and try it to see if you might have some binding.

Its funny I had the same problem with a crawler of mine I thought it was the esc as well. But rather than change it out I just changed the receiver. And it started to work fine for me. Hope it is just your receiver.

I had the same problem with my SCX10 when I fitted a savox servo. You need a BEC to get rid of the problem.

The problem is that the servo uses to much power and the esc shuts down because the LiPo cutoff notices that the voltage is to low, this happens mainly when you turn left or right, am I correct?.

    Looks like this:

if the servo shorts out it will shut the esc down and cause you to think there is a problem with the esc or receiver, so my money is on the servo is going bad

I unplugged the servo, And drove in a straight line.... rolls about 3 feet and starts getting choppy and jolty... i have a locked transmission, would that effect it enough to cause it to bind?

The servo is part of the problem, pulling too much power. but i still done know why its acting like this

It should say Bind on the receiver, I think that is the channel 3 port.
