Hi! I have been thinking about creating a profile on this site for a while, and I finally decided to do it. I am still new to the rc hobby, and I only have one truck, a Midnight Pumpkin Metalic Special. I have had it for almost half a year now, so I'm not very experienced, but I enjoy driving it, even if it isn't the newest, fastest truck out there. (In fact! It's actually rather old!)

That is why I went for the Midnight Pumpkin instead of a Lunchbox. I have to admit, I'm a sucker for old pickups. And you're close, it's a 53.

Those look awesome! I have been thinking about getting another truck, this time I want it to be a 4x4, have any recommendations? I know I want a Slash, but I'm not sure i can afford it.

in my opinion you should think about what you want to do with the 4x4 in the future ...
if you want to change bodies and customize it then the slash will be more difficult to find bodies for ..
and I would say you might want to look into an scx10 and build it for durability ... how ever if you want a tough truck and you like the body styles available .. a slash is an excellent choice...
if you research your wants and needs fairly well .. you will have a solid investment ...
as long as the money is well spent ...find your options and ask questions to find what is in your best interest and you will be fine ....

Thanks! I would like to change bodies, so I will definitely look into an scx10.

I thought you would be familiar with the midnight pumpkin, they've been out since the 80s, and a year or so ago they came out with a street version called the lowride pumpkin, same body but it uses the m06 chassis.

What are you looking to do with the new truck? SC Racing? G6? FoFF? Comp Crawling? Trail Trucking? Super Scale? Mud Bogging? Hard Core Bashing? Depending on how you answer, will depend on what brand or type of RC's to consider...
