thinking about gettin a plane any tips for a complete kit for a complete noob thanx
The Wild Hawk is a good first plane. 3 Ch but can be modded as your experience grows.
I always recommend the super cub. SUPER easy 3 channel plane, readily available parts, very durable, super fun.. Iv taught dozens of currently very very good rc pilots with that plane.
+1 Robsco. I learned to fly with a supercub, and since the beginning I've made sure to keep one because they are such a good plane. Easily modified too... Mine has ailerons, nice radio/receiver, brushless motor/ESC, and I added a cargo bay to drop things from
I even covered it in monokote:
You can see the cargo bay behind the battery box in this pic...
Anyways, sorry to get off track, but the cubbie is a great first plane. Great flying characteristics and an awesome trainer. GOOD LUCK!!
VERY sweet cubby! LOTS of people here learn on that plane. I currently have over a dozen RC planes and i'm like you, I always keep that cub close. Its to much fun to leave at home..
That is a very nicely done job on the Cub, but you need to make the cowl green too.
thanks to all of you i will look in to the SUPER CUB
