I just got a 55T motor and a Solar 772 servo. The motor gives it SOOO much more Torque!

I was wondering if anyone knows how to go about repainting the stock panels? is there any preps I need or can I just paint over the decals?

I think most people would make new panels out of aluminum.

You would probably want to remove the decals and then sand the panels before painting them. It's kinda like painting a plastic body I'm guessing...

Pick up some Goo Gone. Its a great liquid in removing stickers and some glues. Then pick up some 1200 or higher sand paper to lightly scuff the body you want to repaint. Depending on your color, you may want to primer it first. (ie: your going to a lighter color then before, prime it with a gray first. Darker, then you can use a black) If you have any pits or deep scratches, testers makes a model plastic "bondo". Use that to fill in the scratches, sand smooth, and then re prime. You should be good to go.
