I have other ideas for the bed
Okay if you want to put a wood crates in the back you could put the sound kit in the crates
or in the frame rails as a fuel cell
Those are both good ideas. If I decide to put a sound unit in it I'll come up with something. Thanks for your input tho
My rig was missing something. Then I realized most old trucks around my area has a long ass cb antenna flopping around and now mines does too. Made it from a trx-4 antenna. Just cut the big coil section out and added a more scale looking spring. Also final mounted the front bumper to the body use L-tabs I made it out of thin sheet metal but after my drive I think I'm going to need something stronger. Did a little hill climbing. Well hill roll overs cause I rolled the truck way more times then I climbed the hill. 20 rolls- 2 successful climbs LOL!!! Found an old hunting path that made a good trial. Lots of ruts from the hunters tires and old fallen trees. All and all it was a good run until I lost one of my front SSD scale lock hubs. Glad I carried a spare wheel nut with me. And I thought I broke a leaf spring but upon inspection the leaf mount hoop has bent open and came from around the mounting screw. Don't know how that happened but it was an easy fix.
Thats prolly caused by the axle twisting under stress and with heavier rigs the leaf springs arent strong enough just add some links i think theyre called anti roll bars sawbacks have them available since theyre known issue. Definitely looks sick though man good job

take your soldering iron and your stronggest solder and basicly weld theloop back to the spring and if you do it right it won't come off I used to do it
Yeah I got mounts on the axles for anti wrap bars, just haven't got around to fabricating them yet
Thank Man. I'm gonna try that
sure just use a real hot soldring iron and the strongest solder you have
I use metal work solder from bernzomatic it's really strong. And a propane torch
don't warp the spring
Ok. Thanks for the warning
The valve covers are sweet! I'm jealous lol
how did the solder work out
