Been a lot of rain around here lately. Guess I'll make the best of it. Took Ole' Heavy to get a little mud on him. Was going to take a video by I lost the freakin set screw in my rear driveshaft after taking these pics[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

4x4 is over-rated, you only need a FWD truck!

Fixed the set screw issue and did a maintenance check and cleaning on Ole'Heavy. Under the truck really got caked with mud and once it dryed it was hard as a rock. Had to chisel it off.

Really love these wheels. They can come off the hub just like the real ones. Scale[IMG][IMG]

Paging Dr. Leo...Paging Dr. Leo... The patient is ready for surgery.......

Lol. That's what was in my head this morning when I got home from work and setup to do what I've been thinking about all night. Well fast forward hour and a half later and I can say surgery was a success. Now Ole' Heavy is a crew cab dually. Just have to stitch him back together. Used 1/2 inch steet square tube to stretch the rigs total lengthy to a 25 INCHES!!!! I'm going to love driving this truck. Ok enough talk here's the new crew cab Ole' Heavy. Tell me what you think.

Thanks man. It's actually not that heavy. Before I started the transformation I weighed it. It was only 10lbs. Ole' Heavy really ain't that heavy

Finally got the frame extensions securely connected and the drive shaft extension figured out. I used a carrier bearing I had laying around. Its a good thing that since I started in the hobby I've been collecting parts I see that I like. Guess I'm a parts hoarder lol. But anyway. Soldered a bracket onto theframe extensions to hold the carrier bearing. Cut down a extra drive shaft I had to connect the divorced transfer case to that carrier bearing. As you can see I made sure there was nothing hanging belowthe frame for maximum clearance. This time I made sure I put thread locker on everything. Took Ole' Heavy out for a little test drive and everything ran smooth. Glad to have my old friend up and running again.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
