cant wait for Saturday to see it!!!!
we have lift off!!!! RUNNING VIDEO!!!!!!
First day out jeep - YouTube
hope you guys enjoy it!
climbs wicked dude!!!
does look a little stiff tho..... what weight oil are you using???? and are the preload colars wound right down???( bit hard to tell for me, only got low quality on YT, slow net...)
Yeah it was really stiff when i was filming. Ran the battery flat then went to change it over and realised that the springs were set way too stiff. been toying with it most of the day to get a better suspension set up going on. I've just striped the rig right back to bare bones cause a couple of bit i wasn't expecting till next week showed up early.......namely alum trans/link mount and rear alum shock towers and rear alum frame brace. just pumping myself full of coffee for the long night cleaning, greasing and putting back together.
also on the shock issue during the filming i also noticed that the servo was getting hooked on the frame rail. had to flip it over so the wire pointed inwards. freed up the front flex a bit.
we'll have plenty of good flex footage byt eh end of the weekend though! lol
Oh yeah, and the shock oil is the stock one that comes with the gmade piggy backs. Not sure what weight it is?? but the piggy backs have ajustable pressure screws so i'll be playing with them tonight as well! lol
yeah, thought the preload was wound all the way down, but wasnt 100% sure........ stupid prepaid net LOL!!!!
In my opinion, i'd wind them all the way up, so at full extension the spring is just free, and go really light in the oil.
I got 20wt, 25wt,......... ahhhh, got 20tw right up to 55wt if ya need it!!! LOL!!!
well here's the piccies of tonights effort. didn't take a lot of photos, but she's all back together again, clean and ready to get dirty over the weekend. stay tuned lots of pics and vids to come for this one!!!!!

Dunking Doughnuts the jeep takes a swim - YouTube
Very COOOL. Like the way she handles.
Looks awesome nice Job those proline bumpers have come a long way since the first version
I've had this happen to me as well... Although it was for a different product they still wanted proof of who I was. I called them up and had a good old chat, sorted things out and they processed my order while I was on the phone. International calls to the US from Australia isn't that expensive and even by talking to them should tell them that you're a legitimate buyer...
BTW, This build is gunna be good... Can't wait for the end result
THIRD AND FOURTH RUNNING VIDS;

Cheers mate! Need to play with the weight distribution a bit more, not happy with the ride hight, started fixing up some neater and smaller alternatives to the electrics. Just lots of set up issues i havnt had a chance to play round with properly yet. Be assured i'll keep you all posted!

Man that thing is sweet!.....I want one of these babies, I'm currently waiting for my LHS to get them back in stock, it will be my first scaler.
